I just installed a new USB Bluetooth Donlge on a Windows XP SP2 system (which didn't have bluetooth before).

All the Windows help documents and bluetooth devices' manuals tell me to go to this "Bluetooth Devices" in the control panel, however there is no such icon in my Control Panel.

Any ideas of how I can install it?

Does WinXP SP2 have native bluetooth support or not?

Thanks!

There are many different Bluetooth software. You should always use the software that comes with your new hardware.

Windows XP SP2 supports some Bluetooth devices, and it creates an icon in the Control Panel when you insert a supported device. The Windows XP SP2 software does not support all profiles (services) other Bluetooth software do.

But I installed the software that came with it and an application (that uses bluetooth to connect to a mobile phone) told me that windows wasn't ready and to install the right drivers...

In case anyone has heard of it I'm talking about Float's Mobile Agent...
