Hi all,
So for the past 6 hours i've been trying to get this to work but have all but given up so here i am.
I have a Thompson ADSL modem that im plugging into the WAN port of the Linksys router with Gargoyle v1.3.1 on it.
I would like to get internet access on the Linksys LAN, would be even better if the Thompson LAN and Linksys LAN could see each other :)
(I believe my sibling is using up my bandwidth from thier place) thus the reason for Gargoyle

Any help much appreciated :)
My current configuration Internet > Thompson ADSL LAN port (some devices) > Linksys WAN port > Linksys LAN port > Devices

That sounds like it should be working, make sure when you look at the web configuration of the device that it is doing Wired DHCP, as that is what you're Thompson (I assume) will be handing out.

One would think so.
Well now it works...sometimes...when it has the right IP from the Thompson DHCP.
After a couple of hours the IP changes from the LAN IP assigned (usually something like 192.168.1.*) to something like 125.236.238.*

Any ideas?

I found this today, was interested as I'd rather not buy a new modem for me to run gargoyle.
