I am having problems keeping my wife's Samsung Galaxy I550 connected to the bluetooth on her JVC KD-R805 Car stereo.

It connects no problem, all out going calls work on the hands free until it recieves an incoming call. Once an incoming call is ringing the faults appear become quite random. Sometimes the first call will work fine but the second call will fault (have never got to a third call without a fault). The head unit will ring but not the correct ring tone, or it cant be answered, or you cant hang up. It always changes the head units lighting colour back to the default factory setting. Quite often the head unit has to be switched off to reset it after a call attempt.

Once there has been a fault the phone will not re-connect to the head unit. It needs the pairing to be deleted and re-paired to work again.

My Nokia 6120 will happily bluetooth to the JVC all day long.

Has anyone had similar problems and got any suggestions of things to try.

Any help would be much appreciated and it would gain me some brownie points.

Cheers
Steve

Does the samsung connect ok to any other bluetooth devices? sounds like might be a phone fault since your nokia works fine.

Hi

Yes it connects ok to my Mazda (Ford) BT50 bluetooth hands free. It won't ring through the bluetooth and uses a strange ring tone but everything else works fine and consistently.

Cheers
Steve
