Has anyone managed to do this ? I've tried with a Vodafone USB Modem (Huawei K3520), but in Properties there is no Sharing Tab to allow me to switch Internet Connection Sharing on. I'm thinking perhaps this is a restriction that Vodafone have built in to the software, does anyone know if it would work in an "unlocked" modem ? Any suggestions on models and where to buy  in Auckland ?

I'm trying to create a personal WiFi hotspot for when I'm travelling, for my iPhone and iPad. Of course I could do this just with my iPhone, but then I've got to use a SIM card with an overseas phone number.

Thanks, but I tried that yesterday. It screwed my PC up so much I uninstalled it fast. Even then it didn't want to uninstall, I had to tweak a few things to get rid of it.
