I run a business at home and at present have Telecom Business Broadband on one line and our home phone on the other.  As my family manage to consume more and more data each month, I'm looking at adding a second ADSL line with someone like Compass and reducing the data allowance on the business line.

So my question is a simple one - can I run two ADSL lines in the same cable?  It's a standard phone cable with 3 twisted pairs.

I was a geek before the word was invented!

Each DSL connection requires one pair, so if you have 3 pairs in your lead-in from the street, you should be OK.

Yep I agree. I used to have 2x ADSL lines into my property, only running on a 2 pair cable. So you will be fine.
