What's your GST number Hamish ? it doesn't appear on your order summary email (which doesn't quite meet the standards for a Tax Receipt/Invoice either).

Cheers.

I had no idea how to do the GST claim on something that had GST on it but was not in NZD so didnt bother following up on that. Nothing else I buy is both foreign $ and has GST, its one or the other.

richms: A NZ GST invoice MUST be in NZD. If its not in NZD then its not a Tax Invoice and they cannot charge GST.

source: http://www.ird.govt.nz/gst/work-out/work-out-records/records-tax/tax-info/

Looking at the limitlessled website when you order it says all prices are in USD but ads GST in as well if you choose you are from NZ which IMHO is wrong. Unless the Actual invoice you get has everything in NZD (converted at the time) its not a valid Invoice at all.

Thus the reason why your had a hard time working out how to do GST with non NZD. (As you cannot). If its in USD then if should have no GST...

I think Limitless will have to fix this..

Just checked..

a LLC = US Company so they can't charge you GST

Or maybe.

Limitless Designed Limited (NZ Company) and having USD is wrong..

The invoice needs to be in NZD in order to claim GST back as far as I know.

The email receipt isn't really an acceptable invoice for tax purposes because it doesn't seem to meet IRD guidelines e.g must have the words "Tax Invoice" present, be in NZD and if GST is applicable the GST number must also be printed on it.

Appreciate for probably 90% of the people buying these it doesn't really matter, but there will be a few business owners purchasing these I'mm sure.

There is a bug reported on iOS7. Notified manufacturer and put pressure on them. Hope they will update 'wifi controller 2' APP soon.

That's just the order shopping cart summary confirmation email you wouldn't expect that to have a GST number would you?    We put the NZ GST invoice inside the box when shipping and that contains our GST registered number.  If you have damaged or lost your NZ GST invoice, we can export a PDF from our order system and email it you.

Based on your feedback, I can look into providing an NZD currency for website purchases, which would increase our costs, and NZD prices. Also the NZ sales are only a very small portion of our sales. Limitless Designs has always primarily been a technology export company.

We use the official IRD mid-month exchange rates chart, if you are a business and would like to receive an official GST invoice in NZD please send us an email and we will provide you one in PDF.

Cheers,
-Hamish.

Also for the newest APP with iOS7 ( new wifi box ) there is a bug that prevents you from entering the password of your Wifi-router in the SSID box. Apart from that all works.   Don't tell me I did not tell :) Manufacturer in China will resolve this issue soon. Bad luck for us retailers that the iOS bugs were only discovered right before a Chinese Holiday... China and 100% customer satisfaction ..2 worlds. Increasing pressure on manufacturer daily. Hope to bring you soon good news.

The pure white's are definitely the brightest from my own experience, plus you can control the warmth of them to suit your environment/taste as well.

LimitelessLED could you please check your email, I've sent you several in the past week regarding an order that was missing 3 remote controls and have yet to have a response.

Ok thanks for that. One more question, is there a feature where you can put a certain group to come on and off by timer i.e holiday mode etc?

Anyone know what's up with that iOS7 bug? I'm getting the same problem with my Android phone and the new bridge that was mentioned previously in the thread.

(Although my wifi lights were supplied by wifilights.co.nz, as opposed to limitless led... it's all still really the same product, right?)

Hi Mallas, yep its the same product.  The ios7 version is released on AppStore under v1.5 now, there are currently no known ios7 bugs.

Cheers,
Hamish.
