It is a little bit smaller than I thought it would be. Also quite a few of the pebble watch apps on the pebble App Store have iOS companion apps which are not free.

mysticnz:

How have you found the Sony smartwatch? Are there many useful apps for it at the moment? I was considering purchasing one and putting a leather band on it (I get staff discount so the pebble steel is over $100 more for me)

Hey,

I was able to pick up the Sony smartwatch for staff price and I love it. There is a lot of apps for the device and because I take 10+ phonecalls a day its nice to be able to see who it is before getting my phone out!

Only thing for me is people notice that it is a smart watch and not a professional one, at staff price I would recommend it!

*In other news I just put in my order for a pebble steel :D! EXCITING!*

How much did you get for at staff price?

Hey mate, has yours arrived yet? If so, what was the NZ Courier company it arrived with? Did your tracking show up on Singpost at all?

I ordered mine on the 28th Feb and it shipped on the 4th April but no info on tracking yet :( Holding out man, holding ... out

It's pretty cool. Love the steel. Bit of a mission removing links but I got there.

Mine shipped on 5th with Singpost. It shows in NZ Post as in transit to New Zealand. I was hoping it might arrive in NZ today and then courier it tomorrow...

You can put your Singpost tracking number into NZ post tracking as Courierpost will deliver it at the New Zealand end.

Cheers, Matt.

Did you receive an email from Pebble to say it was shipped? I never did but saw i had been charged for it so checked on my March 27 email to say when it would be shipping and clicked on the link in there to find it had shipped on the 4th April. No update on Singpost, NZ Post or Courierpost

My email was in my gmail spam folder. It took about 4 days from the shipping email until the tracking appeared in the Singpost tracker. I see the Singpost tracker has a statement about waiting 72 hours before tracking appears.

Now i sit patiently, once again...

I hope you are patienter (hey I invented a word!) than I am. I am wearing a track in the carpet from pacing.

Cheers, Matt.

Gah, I go to buy and I'm way late to the party. "Coming soon" on the site.

If anyone wants to sell their matte black steel for whatever reason, I'm buying.
