Yeah, I know how lazzy that must make me seem :P But, I'm actually in need for such a gadget, believe it or not. I run a law firm, and we always have tons of things to document, organize and... you can imagine :)

So, does anyone here use this thing? I'd appreciate very much to hear any impressions, advice, recommentadions... Anything really, since I've seen them only on pictures and I don't know what should I pay attention to.

Thanks folks

We have one at work, think it just came from OfficeMax or something.

Lazy!! Next you'll be wanting an electric pencil sharpener too. Then an automatic gearbox in the car, automatic doors on shops, elevators in tall buildings, escalators in malls, remote controls for the TV, ... where will it all end? ;-)

Yep, you can get electric staplers at the usual stationery-specific shops: Office Max, Office Products, Warehouse Stationery, etc. and probably Whitcoulls and PaperPlus (although they may have to order one in). You can also get them at many "gadget" webstores - I seem to remember seeing a USB version somewhere.

I haven't used one in many years, but they used to be rather hopeless and annoying couldn't be used normally when the batteries were flat.

If you're running the firm isn't it traditional to employ a student on minimum wage to do the filing? They don't need power, in fact the less power they have the better. Your job wil be safer ;-)

I've got one, got it from warehouse stationary. Was originally over a hundred, but reduced to 20 dollars on clearance . Was a number of years ago. It is however a bit temperamental , in that sometimes it doesn't work.
