Hi all, I have a 12-13 years old Micron alarm system with 5 sensors. Problem is that keypad is getting too old and buttons are getting hard to press. Can I just get the keypad replaced or it will be hard to find so control panel would need replacing too.  I am fine with getting both replaced and outside siren too as strobe works but siren doesn't sound on the outside siren.  Can someone recommend an installer and an ideal solution which is not too expensive. Thanks

Not sure where you are in NZ but we live in Auckland. We have an approx 17-year-old Micron alarm that recently needed servicing. We had never needed to call anyone before so I called Eagle Alarms (535-7117) because their sticker was inside the keypad and it seems they were the original installer, before we lived here.

It was not an emergency but they came within a few hours, very efficient and did not charge an arm and a leg. I was really happy with the whole thing. It seems they have been around for at least 17 years so I guess they have stood the test of time.

EDIT: Just looked on the 'net and I see there's more than one Eagle Alarms. Maybe it's franchised. These are the people we dealt with - 'Eastern':
