Has anyone's Echo/Dot preorder from NL or JBHifi shipped yet? My understanding from my JB order was that I would receive on launch day which is tomorrow but my order status is still showing as "processing".

We are in the same situ. We ordered about a week or so ago. By all accounts once it was ready to ship payment would be charged, that happened last night. But status still shows as "processing" and have not received any shipping info. You never know, might turn up tomorrow ;-)

The thing about payment there is a lie, every time they have taken the full amount straight away when checking out I have found.

 

 

 

Anyway, still showing in progress on mine as well.

I placed an order for two from JB the same day they announced the offer, and I received a shipping notification and tracking number this afternoon. I guess it depends if they were over subscribed or not, but suspect everyone should get them soon.

I placed an order on 21 January from JB, for the Echo Bundle and an Echo Dot.

The Dot has shipped, but the Echoes haven't. It would be nice to have received an update if there has been a delay.

I wonder if demand is higher than anticipated or if it's just a minor delay with stock.

Order status updated this morning to “completed” in my JB account details but no shipping confirmation or tracking info received as yet. I ordered my two Dots on the 18th Jan.

Just got my tracking number.  However won't be here till tomorrow when no one is home.  Looks like it is coming from the local store so wished they would have let me pick them up.  I would have expected them to be sent yesterday like other retailers do so we would have them on release day.

 

Now I have to get them re-directed as no one is home tomorrow to sign for it.  :(

 

Not overly happy about it.

You never know, it might turn up anyway. About 80% of the time my "signature required" courier parcels seem to get signed for by the courier and left in the letter box or on the doorstep.

 

Sometimes it's actually convenient (depending on the contents), but I do think the signature required service is a rip off as the sender pays more for it but mostly they don't get the service they pay for.

I am not really going to leave $250 dollars worth of stuff at the front door with little weather cover.

Me too. Still nothing from JB. 

 

BTW Just been into the JB store on Queens Street (Auckland), half expecting the major display of talking products.... nothing!

 

Maybe the launch in store isn't until later.

Got an email from Noel Leeming saying my Dot was ready for pickup from store

 

Have yet to go because the weather turned not long after
