Is that the hole that the manual says not to stick anything in?

I'm quite disappointed by the lack of WiFi. I've been using my GWR with my iPhone for the last few weeks, being able to talk to my Nexus 7 at home when I am at work would have rounded out the functionality nicely. Not sure what it would have done to the battery life.. oh well.

I'm currently using this https://github.com/GuiyeC/iOS-Wear-Connect to make the iPhone work. Works good but you have to manually reconnect when you forget to take your phone with you.

Has anyone successfully transferred music onto their watch? Ive looked at the basic google info that there is, and short of ticking the box "download to android wear" in google music, I cant see many other options.

I have an mp3 collection that was not downloaded via google, but is accessible and also some downloaded songs from them as well. There is still no obvious method to kick start the transfer

I had this for a while, but since I synced my thumbs up, whenever I thumbs up a song it would resync and was really killing my battery.   but it worked well and I could listen to music via a bluetooth headset

The first users are suggesting no wifi on XDA, however they have been all over the place with claims.

It still sounds like the hardware is there but there is a software / licensing issue preventing wifi.

I got the music sorted on mine (Z3), appears there is another setting in Sony Walkman that allows the syncing of individual play lists with the watch.

Its not just Google music that has control of the sync.

No wifi that I can see (and I've had a bit of a look around).

Won't have much of a chance till this evening to look through this. Now has a screen with your phone contacts, and the ability to initiate a call (haven't tried this). A torch option is also there along with a few quite a few other things.

Is your watch a local purchase or an import? And did you have to reset your watch to get it to show the update?

Local WS geekzone special purchase. Just came up with upgrade downloaded, swype left to install. Won't be able to answer any more questions till tonight (when hopefully other people will have theirs).

Mine was bought off a guy who got the cheap WS deal but no upgrade today anyway. I wonder how/what determines when you get the upgrade??
