Wireless version of the QC25, can see this being rather handy if the rumour of no headphones jack in the iPhone 7 is true

Looks good, but I'm pretty sure Bose will make a wired version of the QC25 with lightning connector if the 3.5mm port gets dropped from the iPhone. Hopefully they will also make a lightning cable so that I can retrofit my existing QC25s.

Only a slightly (un)related note I've seen people on my last few Air NZ flights wearing cordless headphones who seem completely oblivious to the fact they're breaking the law. Air NZ cabin crew don't seem to do anything.

I sometimes use my QC25's without the plug in.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

When you see somebody with Beats headphones (that have wireless written on them) and Spotify open on their phone it's fairly obvious they're not just using them for N/C

Yes. True. They should make sure in the next safety video they include fitbits and Bluetooth headphones. Here's a write up from Gizmodo

Do you get up and sit next to them to see their phone, or do you just lean over from the aisle?

Because nobody cares. Thousands (probably tens of thousands or more) Bluetooth devices are on and transmitting during flights every day and planes aren't falling out of the skies.

I care.

Nothing riles me up more than people who think they are above the rules. The rules are the rules people.

I sat behind a gentleman recently while passengering and he was told three times by the flight attendants to put his phone away. I eventually told him to put it away prior to take-off. It is true that planes are not falling out of the sky but that is not the point....

Grrrr! Ranty ranty ranty. I also care when I am sitting up the front. Put it away people! It is only for 10 minutes.

Rant over.

I used the qc 15's I think before dont think I have tried the 25's

But I have to say these are the most comfortable headphones I have EVER had on my head. This is important on my flights back home, as the legs are over 9-12 hours. I am sure some could find fault with the sound quality but for my 60 year old eardrums they are fantastic.

Worth the upgrade? you will get between $300-400 s/h I guess for the qc25's in good cond so its a couple of hundred change. I would.

They are indeed very good.

Not the best hi fi headphones but for general travel use etc they are unbeatable.

In terms of the sound, are the guts the same as the QC25s?

I wouldn't trade up for the wireless alone, but if there were improvements in the sound quality, I might consider...
