I found this one on Amazon which looks small enough to go inside a flush box and is 802.3af compliant. Use YouShop if they won't ship to NZ. If you want to build your own and have a 3.3V Arduino or ESP8266, then this one may be the way to go?

Yeah, I ended up buying similar units direct from China (through aliexpress) and have been using them for the last couple of days. All good so far, and the price of them meant I bought 4 so have some spares in case one dies.

Great to know, thanks. Now I'm looking for the ultimate phone/tablet wall mount system. I have a 5" Vodafone Smart Prime running Lollipop and Imperihome mounted in a wooden routed plate (Wife hates it!) but I found these today so might need an upgrade!
