salttlas:

Does any one have tips on where GH Mini might be going cheap on Black Friday sales, that allow shipping to NZ. I guess i could also use NZ Posts, YouShop.

Im just more keen to know who has it cheap with shipping in the US :)

Also interested if the Mini is going to be in any good sales.

FYI - there's also codes for 10% or 20% off on cheapies site for youshop at the moment.

20% TIME2SHOP

10% LOVEFROMYOUSHOP

Edit - 10% not $10.

US Google Store, Walmart, Target and Best Buy will be having the Google Home at USD$79 rather than $129, and several will have the mini at $29 rather than $49. There are also a variety of credit offers with it, but not sure if they would work for us (ie. mini will come with $10 of Google store credit if you get it from them etc).

In case this has not been mentioned earlier, I see Dick Smith online shop is offering the Google Home for $169 plus delivery?

Does anyone know how to order from overseas stores while using a New Zealand debit card and YouShop? It seems everyone requires your shipping address to match your card's billing address. I've tried to get the Google home mini from the US Google devices store and B&H photo but it doesn't work. Best Buy allows me to put the order through but they eventually cancel it because they must know the address is a YouShop one and apparently they don't ship to known freight forwarders. Anyone got any ideas?

Having same problem, tried everything to buy through google shop (using youship address) but no go with billing address not matching.

But I did just put an order through with walmart for 2 mini's.  Using Youship address, seems to have gone through will update if/when it ships.

I've just ordered 2 Minis on B&H shipping to Youshop using an NZ VISA with NZ Billing Address. Order seemed to go through and have received an order confirmation email. Fingers crossed it ships!

Just opened my Mini purchased from Best Buy in the Black Friday sale. Happy to discover the power adapter in the box is a 100-240V one. So just need to buy a NZ/US adapter plug when I get home and all will be good. Regardless, power is via micro-USB so any power supply capable of 5V 1.8A will do. This is different from the full sized Home that has a DC socket type plug.

Because I have several items purchased with US plugs on them that are capable of 100-240V, I was considering picking up a US multi board and just putting an NZ plug adapter on it. That would mean not having to adapt each individual item's plugs. Anybody see flaws in doing that?

Hmm strange, I tried everything, created new payment profiles for US, tried all different billing address.  ANZ CC.   oh well no orange mini for me :D Don't know why they don't take paypal when their app store does.

Anyway my walmart order was also cancelled due to 'quantity exceeded'  , not sure what that means, only ordered two.

So have ordered through B&H / youshop too, seems to have gone through.
