I got it a few days ago 4.0.0.2
Some cosmetic changes apparent, nothing that's really improved functionality for me. Otherwise haven't noticed much else (thankfully battery hasn't taken a hit).

Yeah pushed through app. Just wait I reckon - with previous updates others have got them 1 month ahead of me.

My Gear S3 Frontier from Spark updated on the weekend. I've also noticed the battery life seems better (though I already charge it overnight, as with the hot weather I found it too awkward to wear it in bed) - when I take it off the charger in the morning, the new Daily Briefing (somewhat useful new feature) reports over 2 days battery from 100%.
One thing I've appreciated is the better way it handles responding to message notifications from Viber. In the past, I was only able to choose from preset responses, but now I am able to edit those preset messages, and can respond directly from the notification. It also seems faster and more responsive to inputs. I had also stopped receiving vibration alerts to Viber notifications, which are now back. However, I did a full reset before installing the update, so some improvements may be due to the reset.
Overall, it's gone from being unhelpful to useful again. Also, I think it's creditable that this is the second "major" OS update since it was released (from Tizen 2 to Tizen 4), when I was skeptical that it would ever get past v3. Whether it receives v5 in a year's time, who knows...
Not news, but the current thread about the Huawei GT (which to be fair is more a fitness tracker than smartwatch) highlights for me how good this watch still is.
Got it 24 months ago, still feels fast and can still get through a big day (e.g. 0700-0200 with GPS, BT, auto-heart rate) with 25% battery to spare.
Got updated a month or so ago to Tizen 4.0.0.4. While no improvement to functionality that I've noticed, the interfaces for some of the Samsung apps are a bit more functional (e.g. better placement of on screen buttons) - it's a better watch than it was 3 months ago - which reflects the incremental improvements over the 24 months.
Big update today. I have been looking out for it ever since it was highlighted on the “Jimmy is Promo” YT channel on 14 May. Download is 105 Mb and dropped my battery 30% while installing (so make sure of your battery level before commencing).
Tizen version 4.0.0.7 and the One UI is version 1.5.
It replaces S Voice with Bixby and makes modifications to S Health and some faces. Haven’t had a chance to play yet.
Addendum: I had to request the update through the Galaxy Wear app on my phone, it wasn’t pushed.

Interesting. I've just tried checking for an update and the wear app reported my watch software (4.0.0.4) is up to date.

My Wear App updated about a week ago as well. (Version 2.2.30.20031361)
I have been checking daily, sometimes more, and it only popped up this morning.

My watch updated on 5th June 2020 and I have a much worse battery life ever since. I used to get 40+ hours on a charge, now I barely get 12. When I first got it, I had similar issues. Previous updates had fixed the issue.
Samsung Gear S3 frontier. Brought new from Spark in 2018.
Has anyone else experienced similar?
