The other day I saw someone on an electric skateboard, holding a controller in their hand and I had a thought - using an electric skateboard to get around looks way faster than walking and therefore would be great for playing Pokemon Go. 

 

However I know nothing at skateboarding - having never even attempted to ride a manual skateboard in my youth.

 

Searching for electric skateboards leads to be a raft of option, many seem to be sold out
I know I dont need an off road one ... 

 

Anyone know anything and can point me in the right direction?

i highly recommend borrowing an ordinary skateboard and rolling around in a carpark first. just because its electric doesnt mean it balances for you
