Ok just need a heads up so I know what am talking about!
How to get a video stream from a professional community CCTV Bosch IP video camera to a number of web pages?
It will need to before the DVR so that there is no date, time or camera overlays.
Contractors will do the job but I will be liaising between a number of entities including the possibility of broadcast quality in one case.
Thanks

Date and time will be generated on the camera so will always be present.

The normal scenario would be to have a PC running a task to capture a screen shot from the camera and then FTP it to the website.

You'd need to establish the IP address of the camera and passwords for the camera and the camera model and find out how you can take a snapshot from this via HTTP.

There is no standard way of doing this so I can't answer your questions. You probably need to find yourself an expert to come and consult on the job if you want to take things further.

Any chance you can use a PC running DVR software, rather than a stand alone DVR?

For instance, I'm using BlueIris which adds the date/time, but I can also output another feed of this to a website with logos or whatever I want (if I wanted to).

Sounds like your DVR may be the limiting factor, rather than the camera.

It’s a Windows based DVR but offhand don’t know any other details.

https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-use-ffmpeg-with-wowza-media-server-mpeg-ts explains how to use ffmpeg to convert an rtsp stream to mpeg transport stream for input to WowzaMediaServer (principle is the same is using nginx). Media server then produces the RTMP or HLS stream to be viewed via web page. Media server would need to be located in the cloud somewhere not necessarily on the web server.

Oops I read it as a snapshot first of all, not video.

Streaming video adds huge amounts of complexities to the project. The best option will be to pay US$20 or so per month for one of the online streaming sources that can capture RTSP direct from the IP camera. You can then embed the video feed on your website.

Doing the streaming on your own server is not simple.
