Ok you electronic troops - need some help please with a small project.

Briefly, Council have told us we have to fence our spa pool and without going into details have said no way and instead have purchased a remote controlled actuator that will slide across the top of the cover.

Now want to install a flexible arm micro switch so that when the cover closes it activates the switch and opens the actuator.

Suggestions please as how to incorporate that into the actuator relay.

The 3rd diagram on the right is for the relay:

Many thanks

Try this, the only drawback is that you will have to hold down the A or B button until it is fully open or closed, the limit switch should stop it over opening or over closing.

Next problem will be finding some limit switches that will stand up to the hot humid environment of been close to a spa pool.

might want to read page 17, and check what you planning to do, meet the rules, as you will need to prove it to the Council that you meet the act as they will be checking now that they know about it, if not agree with you, then you will need to go to court to contest it.
