I’ve got Amazon Alexa Echo Hub.
Apparently it integrates with the Google Nest Hello.

Is the integration just as good as if I had Google Home?

danepak: Ended up buying the Google Nest Hello.
$299 incl shipping.

Where did you get the Google Nest Hello?  Did you pay for the subscription?  I am already a Ring v1 user and looking to upgrade with one that has better video quality.

Got it from Toby Deals.
Was A$272
Now A$309

Just saw that Tecobuy sells it for A$277

Haven’t considered subscription yet, as we don’t expect to move into the house for another 4 weeks.
I don’t like their new subscription plan though.
Gone up to $80 annually (from $50 I think).
Yes, you only need one subscription to cover all devices, but as I only have one device, I’m a bit annoyed that they don’t offer the old plan.

Thanks and what step down transformer did you get to power the Nest Hello unit?

Have you started using it yet?

Haven’t started using it yet.
The electrician is still figuring out how to install it. Apparently it’s not as straight forward, but he’s confident that he can do it. Sorry, don’t know the answer to your question reg. stepdown transformer.
If you mean how it’s powered, the electrician ran a CAT6 cable.

Thanks.
I don’t think it’s the powering which is the issue. It’s got something to do with the chime.
As mentioned, it’s being powered by CAT6.
