My Shelly Dimmers arrived yesterday, has anyone seen any updates regarding these obtaining certification?

It also looks like ShellyForHass supporting the 1.8 firmware is now in beta.

I'm now running the ShellyForHass BETA and firmware 1.8 and it's all running fine. Still waiting (not very patiently) for dimmer certification.

Not sure if it is mentioned elsewhere, there is HomeKit firmware for some of the shelly hardware https://github.com/mongoose-os-apps/shelly-homekit

Is there any update for certification in NZ for any of the shelly products? The certification of suitability doesn't look like it complies with the Electricity Safety Regulations

The Global-Mark Website appears to be unavailable at present, but other forum members monitor the Shelly Facebook page and I'm sure they will update this thread when certification is complete.

If you're referring to the Certificate of Suitability not meeting the requirements of an SDoC, you are correct. They serve different purposes. The former would be cited by the latter.

GM website seems to not allow searches on some browsers. It works right now and it's still just the 1 and 1PM on there.

My electrician wired 8x1 and 4x1PM for me last week.

If you search too often the website will block your browser.

I asked on the Facebook page the other day but didn't get a response. "Coming weeks" was the answer some time ago.

Yea I don't believe a SDoC is required for these as I don't believe they meet the requirements for med or high risk declared articles. Plus depending on where you get them from, you could be classed as the importer.
They would need to prove that they can meet reg 80 of the ESR2010

This seems inordinately complicated for a layperson. Are we in NZ allowed to install (have a sparky install) these devices or not?

If an electrician agrees to install them then its his liability. So long as you don't lie to them about any of the devices certifications. When I had mine installed I just gave the electrician the Certificate of Suitability and the devices and they were happy.

I'm just a layperson too but I'm pretty sure the Shelly 1PM and Shelly 1 comply with Section 80 of the ESR2010 because of below.
