All good mine was the same. Just be a bit careful taking the power from the panel you will need to make sure the panel power supply has capacity to power the the panel and interface board. Mine is plugged into a separate socket, not battery backed up but the alarm still works as above. Konnected also sell a battery pack or you can installed another one if you need.
