Good to hear OP has solved issues 1 and 2.

In terms of 3 - I find I get a good solid 2.5 days from my Watch 5 pro LTE, although that's with minimal/nil usage of LTE/GPS functions..

My main bugbear with the watch is that it doesn't lie/sit completely flat - so I cant use my wireless charging pad unless I take one end of the watch strap off...

Probably considering it's just showing a notification from the phone, not actually processing the messaging on-watch

What would happen if you use LTE and your phone isn't around, what would happen to WhatsApp messages etc?

They'll go to your phone I assume.  Whether the phone needs to be on the same network, or bluetooth connected to the watch, to send the notifications to the watch while they are both separated i'm not sure...

The watch has a feature called Remote Connection which works over LTE.  It sends your phones notification to your watch, and depending on what it is allows you to reply.  I've been able to receive and reply to Facebook messenger messages.  I assume What's App would be the same.  There's no Watch app for either WhatsApp or Facebook messenger as far as I'm aware, but the watch natively supports being able to receive and respond to these notifications.

Thanks so much, really appreciate your insights.

How's the battery life treating you these days?

Not bad but could be better. I'm getting about 1.5 - 2 days but have been doing a lot of tracked exercise and spotify listening.  Spotify is usually the biggest battery drainer.  I also keep the Always on Display turned on.  When I'm not exercising or listening to music  (e.g. when I'm at work)  the battery drain is very minimal.

I've got a full 48hrs so far, 20% remaining.  I have put it in Bedtime mode overnight twice.  Very happy with charging every other day if that's what it ends up being.  Daily, or even multiple times a day is a real PITA

Is that with LTE usage from time to time?

Hey guys,

It's been over a month since the last post here.

Does anyone have any further experiences they would like to share?

Also I'm still wondering to go with the black or gray Watch5 Pro.
