Re Ecovacs - never again. Asides from the horrific app and the device continually getting lost, ours had a terminal issue with a bumper sensor/board, to which their answer to the problem was buy a new model. For a company to suggest binning something that was not old by any stretch of the imagination and just adding it to the land fill as a viable support option was just abhorrent. I avoid Ecovacs at all cost now. Just nope. 

fwiw I was too tight to consider a Roborock and just went with a Xiaomi s10 and its been a great replacement for the Ecovacs one (only downside really has been the smaller battery; but thats an easy fix). They are an amazing time saver and I didn't think twice about replacing the old one when it died.
