I think the TVNZOnDemand one is currently broken.

Yeah it hasn't been working for a while. Are they still streaming in Flash? Yikes!

How did Frash end up going? Just came out in Beta when I had my iPad 1, could you install this on your jailbroken ipad and attempt to play TV On Demand through it?

Sadly Frash doesn't seem to work, or at least from the BenM repo...
Thanks for the suggestions folks-- amazing that there isn't a solution to this (or if there is its not widely known about!)

Everything that might be of value to watch on TVNZ OnDemand (except for shows like 'Into The Darklands', maybe) can be found elsewhere on the internet very easily. They also can be downloaded instead of streamed.

If you are willing to jailbreak an iPad you could also be willing to set up an U.S.-based iTunes Store account and buy episodes of TV shows which will certainly play perfectly on an iPad. There are sites where you can pre-purchase credit for iTunes in the U.S. (someone sells on the code on an iTunes gift voucher in the amount of USD$20, USD$50, etc) - I have done it myself in the past and it works fine.

Bottom line, TVNZ is awful, isn't it? And the iPad is not the best tool for this.
