Quick question, currently I have an Ipad 3rd gen and lots of the game apps I have are HD versions.

I really want to get an Ipad mini now as it suits my travel better and I much perfer the size. But because its not Renta display will I have to re purchase any HD apps I already have for the Ipad 3 to get them working on Ipad mini.

I don't believe you have to - iPad mini has the same screen resolution as the iPad 2.0 and everything that works on the iPad Retina works on iPad 2.0 as well. In fact the only distinction in the apps purchasing that I've seen so far is between the iPhone and iPad versions - and even that only applies to very few apps.

No you don't need to repurchase apps. If it works on your iPad 3 it will work on the iPad mini.

Simply load them via iTunes on computer or re-download them (free) from iTunes store - either waay, as stated above, no issue with compatibility.

As long as you use the same iTunes store account.
