I'm after an iOS app to replace my aging Wallet app to store all of my personal information on.  Things ranging from my utility account numbers, logins etc, passport numbers and expiry dates, drivers licence details, bank account details, and web login details (and more).

I'd like said app to be multi platform (e.g. work on both iPad and iPhone), and be able to sync between the two devices via iCloud or Dropbox.  I only want to pay a one time fee (the cost of the app, but free would be good) and not regular monthly/yearly charges like some do.

What are people using for this purpose?

Lastpass? While it is a password management solution, it does what you require as well. It's available on every major platform and data is synced with their own servers so no iCloud or Dropbox needed. It's very secure as well. I use it as my password management solution across all my devices. Desktop version is free and ad supported however mobile support costs $12/year. It's worth it though.

Could also look at KeePass.

Do whatever you want to do man.

I use keepass in dropbox. Works great across Android and Windows.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

1Password does it all for me, cross platform, with keyboard shortcuts etc.

Will check these all out thanks, except for Lasspass as I don't want to pay a yearly fee (as mentioned in my original post).

Thats a scary thought. Storing ALL your personal info in soft form. Who knows who can play with that.

Another vote for KeyPass + Dropbox. Works across multiple PCs/Android and iOS devices.

Depends on how paranoid one is.

People are welcome to my Mercury Energy account number if they really want it.  If they want my credit card number, it is already stored electronically in places (Amazon, my bank etc) or they could intercept it whenever I make an online purchase.

Common sense has to play a part here.
