I read something last year that said we would be getting iTunes Radio in NZ in 2014.

I think Australia has it now.

Anyone have a thought whether we will get it soon?

Yes you are right it is supposed to be here already. First half of 2014 was what I last read. Pandora gets my radio ears for now.

Yes mine too. Although they have just messed around with the pricing on that I think. I also find it plays the same tracks too often no matter what I do!

Apple for NZ is run from Australia and they dont give a continental about NZ as we are too small. They also release product later here than Aus. KInda sucks really.

"The report relays that Apple is hoping to expand iTunes Radio beyond the United States by early 2014.

While it makes sense for Apple to start small with English-speaking countries, Apple executive Eddy Cue recently said that Apple wants iTunes Radio to be a global entity.

"One of our top priorities is to bring iTunes Radio obviously here in the UK, but everywhere in the world," Cue explained in an interview last week. "We certainly want to be in more than 100 countries."

He's got 99 countries to go then.....

Yes...I remember seeing the reports and getting ready to see it just "turn up" on my iDevices.
Still waiting.

I'd actually forgotten all about it until I saw this thread.

I just leave my App Store logged into my US iTunes account and play it happily here with no geoblocking or issues of any sort (until I kill the data on my prepay 2D sim!)

Once you're in the U.S. itunes (must wait for it to change and drop you INTO your itunes), then just look for it in the music app as an icon in the bottom left :)

Best bit about us itunes in nz is no location based adverts, just an occasional iTunes Radio plug, and sometimes a plug for a specific song or album (based on what I listen to maybe?)

Have fun playing :)

It absolutely works! You do not even need to spoof it to believe you are in the US geographically!
