Ugh this is dragging on for ages. Surely it can't still be in transit from HK? Sorry impatient haha

I used to love this when i worked in logistics, people who didn't know better assumed goods were on the next flight from the destination so if a flight takes 12 hours from hong kong the item should arrive in 12 hours.

This is simply not the case, there is freight allocations per aircraft, transhipping to freight hubs and a number of other factors.

In transit from Hong Kong simply means it has left the TNT depot and is between there and where it is due to arrive. So in actuality it can easily still be in transit from Hong Kong.

Do you mind sharing your transit history so we can compare? I would love to know if mine was on the same shipment as yours and is in Auckland also!

Mine hasn't updated yet to arrived in Auckland - however it does say shipment in transit and the EXACT same time of 11:21:42.
So maybe mines in country too.

EDIT: Now mine has updated and is indeed in Auckland :)

They might be pulling the consignment apart and scanning each item ready to ship out.

It does take time to scan in the thousands of iPhones you know :)

I think mine's on the same shipment, just doesn't show up as updated in the tracking yet.

Rationally I understand that the time it takes is far more than just a 12 hour flight but my impatience will always win over haha.

My time for 'in transit' was 11:21:44 so fingers crossed it's in Auckland and will update soon. So jealous!
