I used to love this when i worked in logistics, people who didn't know better assumed goods were on the next flight from the destination so if a flight takes 12 hours from hong kong the item should arrive in 12 hours.
This is simply not the case, there is freight allocations per aircraft, transhipping to freight hubs and a number of other factors.
In transit from Hong Kong simply means it has left the TNT depot and is between there and where it is due to arrive. So in actuality it can easily still be in transit from Hong Kong.
Mine hasn't updated yet to arrived in Auckland - however it does say shipment in transit and the EXACT same time of 11:21:42. So maybe mines in country too.
EDIT: Now mine has updated and is indeed in Auckland :)
