How do you know if it's on the plane?

Well when it's in transit and doesn't specify location like it did when it went to Hong Kong I assume it's in international transit.

I placed an order at about 11:02, almost instantly after the site went live, and my 128GB Gold 6 plus just changed status about an hour ago to "Preparing for Shipment". That makes it exactly 5 working days after placing the order, so hopefully that means that the phone arrives on the earlier side of the delivery estimate (which is between the 7th and 14th of October).

I think it will arrive Monday based on the time frame around the case to arrive.

Assuming hits Sydney today (not NZ directly)
Auckland tomorrow and sorting.
Out for delivery Monday.

Means it's probably on the plane :)

It takes a while for it to reach NZ from Hong Kong. I think if it reaches NZ today, then there is a fair chance of getting it sometime tomorrow afternoon.

If not - then definitely Monday depending on if they courier it out to us on Sat or not.

My status is still the same. 11am Hong Kong time it changed to "in transit" and it's now 4am Hong Kong time and it's still the same. Looks like it'll be Monday.

Is anyone else who ordered just after 11am on the 26th in the same boat as me...or should I say plane :P

I just bought a 128GB iPhone 6 from the Apple store website..it says delivery time will be 20th October - 28th October

I have never bought anything from the Apple site before, but is there any chance this will arrive earlier? Do they overestimate or underestimate delivery times? I've heard both.

I want it now!! haha lucky people here getting it in the next few days!

I would imagine it would be at the earlier end of the time period you have been given.  Probably little to no chance of receiving before the 20th.  My date is the 6-10th October and it's only preparing for shipment now (appears to stay in that state for a day or so) so looks like it will be here next week as estimated.

Mine still seems to be "in transit" from HK. Does anyone know if it comes direct to NZ or thru Aussie first?

Have your ordered the plus? My dates Apple gave me were the 8th to the 15th of Oct however TNT has picked it up and have estimated the 6th of Oct. You dates may be brought forward once TNT have it.
