YoginiCat: Mine still seems to be "in transit" from HK. Does anyone know if it comes direct to NZ or thru Aussie first?

Mine is also still 'in transit' from HK. Been that way for at least 12 hours now. I believe it goes to AUZ first.

Mine is still in transit from Hong Kong. The flight from Hong Kong to NZ is around 12.5 hours. But people here are right - it will probably go through AUS first and ship tonight to NZ.

In which case we will probably get it on Monday.

It is very helpful! It also shows me that my order has been in transit far longer than this persons was. Grrrr.

Might see them Friday after all then. Would be nice to get it before the weekend, but I won't count on it.

I rang TNT and we are allowed to pick them up from the depot on Sat if we want (he reckons they'll arrive in Auckland by tomorrow and get transfered to our areas by Friday night: my local is only open from 8am until 11am on Sat so I'll have to be quick!

I think I'll just let it come when it comes.

I know this would be the logical option :P

But that is no fun, this is my first iPhone purchase since the 4 (which died and I switched to Samsung).  I'm excited!

Thanks for the info, how do you know the details of your local depot?

This is my first purchase of a new iphone; I brought the 4s 2nd hand and then switched to Android. I AM SUPER EXCITED :)

I rang TNT and they told me that New Zealand Couriers is their delivery service agent for regions and that it would be at the depot most probably by Friday night. I then looked up my local depot in P. Nth and it stated their opening hours online.

My track record with TNT is subpar. One lost iMac at Hong Kong, one damaged MacBook Pro in Timaru. Lets hope they do better with iPhones. :)

That doesn't sound good :S
Honestly would rather go pick it up on Saturday if I can walk to it (don't have a car)... Most likely it won't be within the CBD so I'll be out of luck.

I just feel like I'm never home for deliveries and I end up having to go there physically to pick it up anyway.

Ya never know; the depot may be closer than you think!
