For pockets and calls not so good

For handbags/jacket pocket and surfing (wifey) it will work

kawaii: I was originally going to go for the iPhone 6 Plus but when I tried it in person, even for a guy who has big hands, I found it pretty big. Best thing to do would be to roll down to a Vodafone or Spark shop to have a hands on go with the phone.

...and yet I'm a guy with medium-slightly smallish hands, and I will never buy a smaller phone ever again. I was one of the very early fans of this phone format, and I recall it taking me about 4 hours to get accustomed to the size. I picked up my S2 after that and it felt like a little baby phone...

Hehe, you can imagine how it is to go back to the iPhone 5 from the 6 Plus... I never knew it was so small ;)

I have to say that I still think the iPhone 6 is the best size phone of the two. But still prefer the 6 Plus - the bigger screen is very nice. But wish I had bigger hands (or the iPhone smaller footprint, with same screen size).

I do have one annoyance with my 6+ it is actually not great for calls, it still feels unnatural when I hold it up to take a call and feels like I am holding a brick to the side of my head!

it really needs to be slightly curved or shaped to work better as an actual phone!  or I could start talking into a watch early next year!

As far as the size in the hand I got used to it quite quickly and 2 handed operation actually feels more natural, I have "normal" sized man hands and a bulky case on mine.

jarledb:(or the iPhone smaller footprint, with same screen size).

This would be good, Apple need at some point to move away from their iconic bezels, they make the footprint needlessly large and the design language looks antiquated. The difficulty is the home button, it forces large bezels since they insist on symmetric bezels top and bottom. For the 6+ at any rate they could sidestep that by moving the fingerprint reader to the back, it's the better place for it on a phablet. The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 has it right in that regard, and they manage to fit a 6 inch screen into dimensions not too far off the 6+ dimensions (as well as a much larger capacity battery).

I have a 6+ and I don't have any issues using it (tiny half-asian hands - Nik's hands are at least a 1/3 bigger than mine).
