Hello
I created an Icloud account on the website as I don't have any mac devices
I wanted to use the free storage but it only has available 1G I thought I could get 5G free.
I installed the ICloud app to my windows 7 pc and logged in but the error message says I can't sign in because my apple ID must be used first to set it up on an ios or ox device.
I only have a windows pc.
How can I use the cloud storage and upload my photos to the storage.
Or is there another free online storage facility that will let me have 5G free storage.
I do have a box.com account but it limits the size of the files I can upload to it.

Yep - iCloud is set aside for Apple devices. I believe you get 2 GB free with Dropbox.com and can 'earn' more via referrals - it's a pretty mature service. Or I believe Google Photos pretty much gives you unlimited storage...
