That is true, I have apps from UK, Aussie and US all sitting next to each other. SKY Now UK is the best pic quality I have seen through any device.

Is there a Sky Nov UK app on AppleTV now?

Yes

What UK Credit card method do you use?

I can confirm you only need to change app stores for the initial download. Once the apps are on there, they all show up regardless of where you're logged in. I've got Hulu Plus, TenPlay Australia and UK TV Player happily co-existing. The only app I've had any issue with is Willow TV (US Cricket channel) which needed the ATV region on US before it would let me log in. Not keeping that one, though. The streaming quality is terrible, yet Hulu comes through in HD without issue.

Edited for spelling.

Hey, a new app that allows you to connect your HDhomerun device to apple tv 4 has launched called channels. Picks up all freeview channels and works well for live tv. I have no affiliation to app except trying to find a solution to using apple tv and freeview.

This implies to me that TVNZ will (should) be working on one too, they would to be left behind!

Awesome! 3now app isn't that amazing, but perfectly functional!

Annoyingly doesn't save your progress in a video if you exit and resume watching.

On a massive bright side though, no ads! They must not have worked that out yet ??

Has anyone tried any of the games available (are there any games yet)?

My 4.5 year old likes playing games on the iPad and my wife is now teaching her Harry Potter on an old PS2.... The new ATV might be a good option as well.

Kids love playing crossy road in two player mode.
You can use the app on another iOS device as a second controller, while the other one uses the remote.

I also briefly tried some car racing game (can't recall the name) to see how the remote worked as a steering wheel, and it seemed to be pretty good, and graphics were great, although I haven't played on Xbox or ps for a long time.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Great. If the other comes soon, and Lightbox, sweet. Ive had my ATV4 for a week, still on the computer table, wrapped. Time to unbox soon.

It really deserves to be unwrapped. I hope Apple will get the Remote App running with it again, and in my dreams I hope they are working on it because they want to add sound from Apple TV to iPhone (so you can have headphones and watch TV, kinda like with Roku and their headphone jack).

That would be awesomesauce. The new virtual keyboard and no support for bluetooth keyboard or Remote App are the two main letdowns on the Apple TV at the moment.

But its become the default streaming box in this house, in competition with Roku and Amazon Fire TV.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned but I love the TV power button and volume controls. Worked immediately with my Sony TV out of the box and even changed TV input to the appropriate one instantly, and turns TV off if you put to sleep.
