I stuck the provided label on the front of the bag and manually wrote "defective part" on it (whether I had to or not is another story). I then just left it in the "courier bay" at work and it disappeared :)

E3xtc:

errm dumb question here - does the customs/shipping documentation need to be in the bag or handed to the TNT driver upon pick up?

and secondly - if the cost is 54c if you don't return it, I am wondering if I might just dump it in the bin and stop thinking about it :\

There's a little clear plastic pocket on the front of the bag; just fold the paperwork in half and slip it in there, top of the front page facing out so the driver can read it.

We had three replaced (delivered separately on different days of course).  We got one bag ready once the first two were delivered with all three old duckheads inside.  Once the third one was delivered, all documentation was placed inside the one bag and given to the courier when he delivered the third.  Whether or not they actually make it to Apple, and Apple acknowledge the return of all three is a different matter.  But for the money involved I am not too worried.
