Aaroona:

lagbort:

Sold outright, (even came with a 'free' power bank) unsure if it is parallel imported or not but it is the same model code as the ones my friends have received from Apple.

Have had nothing but good warranty service from PBTech in the past so not too worried tbh

I just gave the Auckland CBD branch a call and he said no 7 Plus models are available across any of the stores (he did a stock check while I was on the phone).. You were very lucky! :)

Yup, it was the last iPhone 7 of any sort they had in stock

Gave in - Vodafone had a iPhone 7 128GB in stock, so I've gone with that. Order canceled with Apple.

Interestingly, Tim Cook said at this stage it doesn't look like they'll have enough supply for demand in this quarter (I assume that just means any new orders will still be delayed by 3-4 weeks for the foreseeable future).

I'm not too disappointed to be honest - It was slightly cheaper, I could have it now and I was a little apprehensive about the size of the Plus.
Just updating iOS and will do a restore to it shortly.

Side note; There was some miscommunication with the guy at the Vodafone store - I said to him that I don't want to change my plan at all during this transaction and somehow he ended up changing my plan - Not entirely his fault, as the plan I'm on isn't available in stores and he thought I he was putting me back onto what I was already on (thanks to the confusing naming Vodafone have used for the plans), but, hopefully we've found a resolution to it being changed, as they couldn't put me back onto the plan I was on, in the store.
