Hi sick of the battery life on 11.0.2 (not sure if any difference with going back to 11.0.1)

Heard that 11.1 is good - those running the beta, can you give some feedback if there are any issues?

THanks

Running it on an IPad. Battery life with 11.0 was definitely shorter, 11.1 much better but still a way to go. Don’t forget to turn off battery hogs like Facebook

Running as my daily. Never will be as good as 10.3.3 but... It took them so long to get 10 right.

Tested on 11.0.1 and was about to go back to 10.3.3 when apple stopped signing 10.3.3. Darn.

I have an iPhone 7 - Ran iOS11 GM, and 11.0.1, now on 11.1 Beta.

Haven't noticed any drop in battery life at all from iOS 10-11.1 - though have had a relatively unstable experience with applications freezing with iOS 11 in general, the phone freezing so badly that it doesn't respond to the Home+Power reset, app crashes etc.

YMMV, but so far I'm pretty unimpressed. iOS 10 was rock solid in comparison... the Beta is slightly better for app compatibility (Spotify music controls namely)

Or better still, uninstall IMO. Personally I don't have it installed, and I have never had any noticeable problems with battery life at all with my iphone or any ios updates.

You have an iPhone 7 so Home + Power does nothing. Use Volume Down + Power to do a forced restart/hard reset instead :)

Oh dear - well, I haven't needed to look for a hard reset till I installed iOS 11 - but thank you for that, that clears that problem up and should help next time it freezes! (likely will be soon...)

I’ve got 11.1 beta on my daily runner (iPhone 7+) and have had no issues at all... guess it’s really YMMV?

I did need to ‘unenrol’ from the Beta program to go from 11.0.1 to 11.0.2 for some reason as even 3 days after public release my phone reported ‘up to dat’ on 11.0.1, but aside from the usual slight jerkiness and various apps not quite functioning in the PRE 11 beta, since it went ‘gold’ I’ve had no real issues except the Exchange email one that 11.0 and 11.0.1 had that was resolved in 11.0.2 (and works fine in 11.1 also)

love articles like this. essentially, what you need to do is this:

buy the most powerful smart phone in the world and turn off all the smart features and run on low power mode ...
