With the revelation of the KRACK exploit I'm trying to determine how safe certain activities are in the unlikely event you were targeted.

 

Based on the info on this Apple page can I assume that things like backups, restores, iCloud photo library, etc are essentially immune because it is using Apples encryption "underneath" the WPA2 (i.e. even if someone exploited you with KRACK the data they capture would be useless to them because of Apples encryption)?
