campoki:Mine did that too, but there was an option up the top to use the billing address so I hit that to save time. Just gotta wait for their site to be up fully so I can change it to my work address.
Ordered mine through the app too, (as it was first before the website). Frantically had to manually type in the shipping address, as it didn't use my "default shipping address". Will be delivered from the 14th to the 21st of November. Excitement!
iPhone in hand repeatedly force closing and reopening the Apple Store app, MacBook refreshing every 2 seconds on the Apple site.
That Apple Site didn't load for me until 8:08pm, I'd already checked out on the app by that point.
During my frantic rush I nearly ordered two iPhone X, though I'm sure it wouldn't have been too hard to sell the other/get it cancelled, still a minor heart attack!
"Delivers: Fri 03/11/2017 by Standard Shipping" :D
Aah! I managed to get in at 20:05. I added a 256gig Space Grey to my cart successfully, and then spent two minutes on their "wait, don't you want a case and a wireless charger with that?" site. By the time I added the case and the wireless charger, the delivery time had slipped to two weeks (13-20/11)... even though I'd added the device to my cart.
Grrrr. Shame on Apple for the four minute delay (ordinarily not something to decry, but Steve Jobs would be grumpy if he was around), and for the bait and delay tactics. Once you've added a phone to your cart and are still actively shopping on options that your website has presented you before you finalise your cart, you should be allowed at least 5 minutes to complete your purchase!

Well, to be fair they do free shipping to NZ anyway, so there was no reason to order them together. Also having the item in your cart does not mean you committed to the purchase so there is no reason for them to hold stock for you. But yes I do see having that case and wireless charger show up at last minute to mess with your mind and purchasing decisions.
I was frantically refreshing the App and also Apple's website at the same time and managed to get into the website first. Chose my phone (Silver 256 GB) and picked the wrong case colour. Still, I got a November 3rd delivery. Will either change the case order or refund it - for some reason, the case order can't be changed right now.
The shipping time right now is 4 to 5 weeks. Phew -- thank goodness for managing to order quick enough.

That's normal.
That sort of stuff is deemed non-essential and stays down for an extra few hours, presumably to point as much server power as they can towards phone pre-sales.
The shipping time is now 5 to 6 weeks. I also wonder how much stock the telcos got allocated - expecting a lot of gnashing of teeth and angry people come November 3.
Dial111:MikeB4:any reason as to why?I wont be. I have decided my current iPhone 7+ will be my last iPhone.
I have an 7+ also but I can't fault it. I started out on Android, but can't find a good enough reason to go back. But in saying that I have about a 30% interest in getting the X now anyway
My credit card has been charged! Normally I am not that fussed over gadgets but I am truly very tired of the form factor of the 7 and the relatively meagre battery life. Can't wait to see something new.
