Because of an over flow of petitions. Please go to http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/iphone_rip_off_New_Zealand/index.html to sign if you are wanting to petition against the high prices of the iphone.

Thank you.

Maybe you should start a petition for them to lower ALL their pricing plans...

You Choose 600 - $225pm
Text 600 add on - $12.95 pm
1GB data - $60 pm

Handset Subsidy for 24 month term - $400

I'd say you're not getting too bad a deal with the iPhone plans TBH

i think paying 6000 over a two year contract is pretty bad...

I mean, you're definitely right. However, they do have atleast one "good" plan, the Mega Plan.
I think we would have to set a different petition for just the plans, because its not only the plans we are arguing here.
The price of the iphones are just as bad. (the on account ones).

But as i said, I will definitely be looking into it. I also think they are over priced in bascially every area.

Aaroona: Right guys, time to work together

You've started a new petition and it says little so I'm not sure you're working together (no offence). There's already this petition that has over 1000 signed already (although I think it is *really* badly worded)....

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/iphone_rip_off_New_Zealand/index.html

This petition has over 1000 about prepay....
http://www.PetitionOnline.com/nzmac/petition.html

Honestly, I'd suggest killing off your one or else there'll be petition overload.

What about another idea for web masters?
http://www.websiteribbon.com/

Maybe a ribbon saying "Lower Priced Data Plans" with a link to that first petition??

Cheers,

Phil

PS...I set up the one about prepay. Radio NZ interviewed me for business report tomorrow morning, but have no idea if it'll be mentioned.

Yeah fair enough, point taken.

I was thinking about getting rid of it last night because of this other one. This just confirms what I should do. The other seems to have taken off. Cheers.
