If you do, keep us updated. I'm keen as if it's bonafide.

I used their contact form to ask for physical contact details. Wonder if they'll get back to me?

i would do it if they had a phone number or a store address. That way if they were to steal my money, its a good chance to "visit" them. But seeing as theres only a email address, i am skeptical.

hmm I'm seriously considering selling my first generation iPhone.  I won't part with it for less than $400 though.  If you are interested I'll keep an eye on this thread or you can give me a bell on 0211226512. I live in Auckland and pick ups would be fine.

Hi folks,

I was about to start a new thread on i-store when i saw this one.

My advice is dont buy from them!

Despite having concerns with i-store, their price was too tempting for me and i placed an order last tuesday. They emailed to tell me it shipped on friday, but it still hasnt arrived..... They haven't replied to my emails for the last 3 days asking for information on the shipping (you'll note their site says that tracking numbers will be provided with all orders, but i haven't got one)

Guess i should have known better! I did look up the whois information, which didnt fill me with confidence, but they were very good at answering my questions BEFORE i purchased the item - unfortunately they haven't replied to any SINCE i transferred the money.

I'll update if anything changes, but based on my experience so far i wouldnt recommend them!

Yeah i know. Pretty gutted if i've been had...

Has anyone else had a similar experience? I have their bank account number and branch (ANZ Mt Roskill)- can anything be done with that? I'm not in Auckland, so cant visit the address listed on their domain registration.

And to clarify, it wasnt the iphone i ordered.

Hopefully at least others wont try them now!

Just my 2c

Yeah that sucks. Personally I wouldnt have done it since they dont accept credit cards. How can someone have an internet shop and not offer credit cards purchases? I guess if they did it would give them some crediability as well as giving you the option to get your money back if they turn out to be crooks.

Putting your money into some one else bank account is fine for small things like stuff off Trademe but I would be super apprehensive to put large sumes of money into someone else account for an iPhone on some dodgey looking web site.

A number of years back I purchased a PDA (oh, those were they days)! for a really good price on a small online store I had never heard of. I was pretty apprehensive at first as I had never heard of them but paid (with my credit card) and got the PDA within a few days (it came from Acer in Ozzie). I wouldnt have gone ahead if they didnt take credit cards.

Who knows we could all be surprised. Although if he was a real crook he could send you your and then fleece many more people based on your "positive" experience!

Trevor
