1 - Yes, without doubt
2 - No, without doubt

I'll stick with my imported 4GB 1st gen - the ultimate original - and wait for the new iPhone with iChat mobile.

Absolutely not (not from Vodafone anyway).

Plus I have an overwhelming desire to pop to my local FoodTown, get a dozen eggs and do a drive-by down Queen street in Auckland and throw some at the guys camping outside the store.
There is being desperate but that is just sad.

1) Yes - dying Nokia & gadget envy (friend has unlocked 1st Gen)
2) No - there's 'premium' and then there's 'bloodsucking ripoff' (it's the data stupid)

A mildly disappointing feeling, so familiar to all Kiwi's living at home.  Report says 'has potential, must try harder'.
