Can't seem to find any discussions about this on any other nz forums yet but tonight on my ipad all in app prices across every game/app I use have gone up. $2.99 has gone to 3.99, 5.99 to 6.99, 14.99 to 16.99, 29.99 to 34.99, 149.99 to 169.99 etcetc.

Not sure if this is supposed to already be known but I didn't know and was quite surprised. Thankfully I noticed before buying anything today as I'm going to have to rethink splurging on this kinda stuff as you don't get anything extra for the extra costs.

A UNO game I have is still $11.99 for monthly card. I just play it for free, with the daily coins though.

Sound like in applic purchases you're asking about, so haven't noticed price increases in general.

Have come across some that want $14 a week, and they look no where worth that to me, like one that does live wall papers.

If it is NZ dollars that you are quoting then the price increase is probably due to the lower value versus the US dollar which app prices will be tied to.

Yeah it’s in NZ$, and the exchange rate hasn’t changed much in the last month, it’s been bad but still just as bad, no worse. The way it’s affecting multiple games made by multiple different companies makes me think something has changed at apple.

It is not exchange rate parity in the last month which would be important but the overall trends. The NZD to USD exchange rate has been dropping for more than a year.

Apple has adjusted international prices before, the first time in 2011. https://oleb.net/blog/2011/07/apple-changed-app-store-prices/

But I could not find any article about a price increase in the the last month or so.
