Delivered shortly before 9.30 in Wellington. Now sitting on my desk....!
Got mine at 09:36, thanks again as always 2degrees!
Anyone received confirmation about getting a year's free apple tv+ with their purchase?
Sounds like preorders with Noel Leemings in Wellington aren't all going to be happening. Last word from the store was all the Wellington stores are waiting to hear about stock & delivery
Don't forget to install today's released iOS13 on your new phones 😀
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Good point, absolutely nothing whatsoever.
It's not out till 1st November so you're unlikely to get anything until then
Just got 256GB Pro from Noel Leeming Moorhouse Ave, Chch.
No pre-order. Initially they said they didn't have stock, but double checked and more had just arrived.
When Apple TV+ goes live on 1 Nov, all you have to do is choose the button to activate your free year that will be on the TV app.

Loudsilvereel: Woohoo got mine.
Feels a bit clumsy and large changing from a 7 to 11 Pro
The midnight green looks quite cool, and the triple camera fidget spinner doesn’t look that bad in person.
Actually the bump doesn’t stand that proud of the phone at all!
Now waiting while it updates to the 13.1 beta so I can restore everything from my other phone
Apple's delivery/control of its primary delivery contractor (DHL) this year has been nothing short of disgraceful in my experience. I became so annoyed that I went and bought an 11 Pro from a Spark store and basically demanded that Apple return "my" phone for a refund.
My case came first. Delivery agent was DHL. Apple instructed them that, in the event of any unsuccessful delivery, you cannot select from the DHL Ondemand website any depot other than the two directly-owned DHL depots (in Penrose and near Auckland airport for Aucklanders) -- this was confirmed to me by both Apple and DHL. I had to ring Apple to get them to do a shift to a Courierpost depot nearer to where I live (Albany) and this took two days during the early parts of this week. Strike one.
Knowing what I knew, the moment I received the tracking code for my phone, I went on DHL OnDemand. Made the change (which their systems acknowledged) and had them deliver straight to the DHL depot in Penrose (from which I intended to pick up on the way back from a work engagement on Friday afternoon). Again, I couldn't choose any Courierpost depot. All this happened around mid-afternoon Thursday. Friday morning, I see a missed attempted delivery at my house. Rang DHL, explained the story, and they basically couldn't give a stuff. No news/no promises that the phone would actually go to the selected depot any time soon (I didn't have the temerity to ask them to shift it to the Courierpost depot in Albany because that would be way too complicated!).
I needed my new phone because I have sold my X to a GZ member and he actually had effectively been generously allowing me to hold and use his phone despite paying in full in advance. Rang up Apple and the first CSR I talked to basically couldn't give a damn either. Eventually spoke to someone else who was much more polite but he still appeared hamstrung and eventually did advise that DHL had acknowledged the request but couldn't promise whether my phone would be at the Penrose depot on Saturday.
Eventually I got fed up, walked into Spark's Newmarket store and picked up the phone that I wanted, and then told Apple to get stuffed.
Returned home and see a NZ Post/Courierpost card to call saying that I could pick up at the NZP outlet. DHL was using Courierpost as their agent. Funny how Courierpost apparently can't be trusted to be delivering/looking after a case at a depot but could deliver phones. And funny how no one at Apple nor DHL could tell me today that I could have just gone to the NZP outlet tomorrow.
The Spark guy even very nicely offered me extra data (well beyond the current specials) which also allowed me to downgrade my monthly plan to a cheaper one. All class.
