Any other folk having battery drain issues since moving to IOS 13 and more recently 13.2.3?

Seems to be quite a few folk having the same battery drain issues... aka almost 1 per cent per minute whilst using phone in some cases....

I have been very conservative about what apps are allowed to have background sync, locations etc etc etc...

whats the best way to lodge a complaint with Apple?

(given everyone thought the latest point update would fix this battery drain issue)?

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

I am appalled at the IOS 13 release and all its patches. Whilst I only have an iphone 7 I am still getting issues especially with the iphone music app (on my own playlists) keeps stopping. It seems better after the last patch but still bad.

I did have battery drain issues as well and I can usually fix them by restarting the iphone a few times.

Never had these or so many other problems with pre iOS13 versions. This iOS version, IMO, is the most troublesome release yet and funny enough just the other morning I read this: Inside Apple’s iPhone Software Shakeup After Buggy iOS 13 Debut

This is a click through from https://9to5mac.com/2019/11/21/bloomberg-ios-14-ios-13/

Hopefully Apple has seen the light:

iOS 13 has been a fluster cluck.

It's caused all sorts of issues with friends and colleagues.

I do like the updated CarOS functionality though!

I'm running a BETA though, so I supposed I'm kinda asking for issues.

Yes.

Seems its an issue on iphones 7 and 8. Thought my pocket was going to catch fire recently while listening to music on airpods.  I am having to restart the phone each day at least. I took it to an Apple agent thinking the battery needed replacing (yesterday) and was told its an ios issue and should be resolved eventually.

I am a bit suspicious that Apple just want us to buy newer phones.

Thanks for the reply, you just saved me buying a 11 pro!!

It's happening to my iphone X. Sometimes i have to restart it a few time before it comes right.

I also reset the phone last night and the problem is still there.

Exactly.

Currently talking to Apple about it. Call 0800 1 27753

I have just told them I am so pissed I would now replace it with a samsung. Sadly I had decided to wait for the new models/designs in the 2020 models.

The more people that call the better. I believe the heating is dangerous.

Apple are quite sure by doing the following will fix it.

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings

I am doing it now.

Only acknowledged the solution. She said that after 5 years or so with no refresh things get a bit mixed up. I am surprised tho...my phone is running much better, but still to test overheating issue.

I've been through a few rough Apple updates in my time.

iOS13 would have to be one of the worst.

I'm in the dog box with the missus since advising her to update her iPhone 7 Plus: She has to reboot it daily to keep it operational.

My iPhone Xr doesn't have many issues but gets a bit warm. Battery life has gone from great to just average.

tvOS13 is pretty good. Enjoying the controller support.

Does anyone else have the issue where you will go to an app but it is unresponsive?  even killing the app and relaunching makes no difference.  It requires a full reboot (iPhone 11)
