Ok so I’ve found what seems to be a bug.

My iPhone 11 Pro Mac had an Apple leather folio cover on that walked the phone when you open the cover.

Numerous times since the update, I get incoming calls. Pick up, open cover - call ends and goes to voicemail.

That's less than ideal

JaseNZ:

And jumped up to 14.0.1 and watch os 7.0.1 today.

Updated 14.0.1 on both my iPhone XS Max and IPad Pro (from 14) and have issues with them since.  In their case of my iPhone, I found the issue with Apple’s stock Maps app in car navigation mode.  Was driving home from work this afternoon, using Apple Maps I started navigation.  After about 2-3 minutes the navigation stops, and brings me back to the route selection screen.

In the case of my iPad, 14.0.1 caused issues my bluetooth keyboard - the keyboard keeps “disappearing” as I am typing。

Never and those issues in either 13.x or 14 itself...

I used it today in nav with wireless carplay but I have mine set as google maps as default , I find it is more accurate than apple maps and had no issues.

Is anyone else having problems with folders being unpacked after moving widgets around? It is the most annoying and time consuming bug to fix, and move apps back into folders again. Not good that apple released it with this bug.

Seems others are also having the same problem at https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/656888

Just curious how did you set Google Maps as “default”, as I can’t find that option in mine for Google Maps to make it default, like how I can make other email client like the Spark by Readle as default email client. In any case I should add that I did try using Google Maps to navigate and the turn-by-turn did work for me. I used to use Waze mainly for sharing ETA with the Mrs until Apple Maps came up with the ETA Sharing option in iOS 13 (or was it iOS 12?) and have used Apple Maps since then..

In carplay I just go into google maps then tap on back to home (bottom left hand corner) and google is showing as opposed to apple maps. Left half of screen is also different to standard apple screen.

Ahh ok thanks @JaseNZ.  I don’t have CarPlay on my car so I’m interacting with the phone directly via its touchscreen.

I have, but then I also did beforehand.

Interestingly, call quality is actually a metric rarely tested in phone reviews for some reason.

I presume that the iPhone does HD Voice? My Samsung Galaxy actually had a switch for that function in the settings but I can see no corresponding option in iOS unless I am just not looking in the correct place.

It is still happening. FWIW, I have reported it using Apple's feedback page.

Does anyone know if it is possible to reorder pages on the home screen? I want to insert a new page of apps/widgets in between two existing pages.

A quick Google search seems to indicate that this can't be done, but that would be a major design defect if true!
