Just got told by 2degrees CSR that they are not sending out iPhone 15 preorder until tomorrow. (WHAT?) I explained that the launch is tomorrow and normally the phones are despatched the day before to be delivered on launch day. But nooooo apparently it only gets despatched “on” launch day now (something to do with open order and in the past people received it early and cancel order blah)

So apparently if they send the phones out tomorrow most likely we are not going to see the phone until Monday! Well…. I certainly hope he’s wrong but he’s also very nice and seems like he knows what’s he’s talking about. So yeeeep fun time.

Funny story, I had an unexpected courier package today... didn't order anything apart from the iPhone so I was thinking...hmmm maybe.... just maybe....

Turned out it was our vegetable box. 😑

Email. Noting though that the tracking link is not yet live, so it seems that CourierPost haven't picked it up yet.

Yeah my wife woke me up at 11:30 to urgently discuss whether we should book a bach at Easter. This definitely also reaches my threshold of urgency. But anyway that meant I was awake at 00:01 when all the advertising said orders would be taken.

I am here to tell you they didn't start to take orders for another 45 minutes. 🤨

In the past I've always had it ready for me to pick up at 2D retail stores. Now I need to stay home all day for the Courier - if it comes tomorrow!

I'll need to go into the retail store soon too for the eSim migration. Fun times.

Only the US ones are eSIM-only, so you can move your existing nano-SIM. Well... unless you're already on an eSIM.

Only the US ones are eSIM-only, so you can move your existing nano-SIM. Well... unless you're already on an eSIM.

I've been using eSim for my 2D connection and a physical Spark SIM for my work SIM card. Using the work's data so I was able to go on a low $35 plan. :)

Now with the $60 and 16GB.... there is very little point of using my work connection.

I might still do the same for areas with limited coverage as backup.

Fantastic. Looks like when they told me I am getting it on launch day. They really don’t mean it lol. Still no tracking email here. I really hope they can tell us when we can expect delivery like Apple’s system.

Oh well fingers cross for tomorrow if not “soonish” 😂
