Hi there

I am pretty certain that this issue has only occurred since daylight savings and also hopeful that someone can help me fix the problem.

A text comes in and it shows the time it came in as an hour ahead.

A fellow iPhone user has noticed the same problem - we have gone through our settings and everything appears to be right, IE: the right timezone etc.

Any ideas on how to sort this would be appreciated.

Thanks
Allessandra

Are you on XT or VF? I know XT were experiencing issues with the timestamps on some devices.

Hi

Sorry for not mentioning it and I should know that would make a difference too. Yes, I am with XT.

Thanks.

Same problem with incoming texts on my 3GS on XT. Not a big deal really, but it would be nice for everything not to be an hour out :)

NealR said in another thread there was a patch what will be applied towards the end of the month (and I can't remember what thread that was in now... too late:) )

I've had the same thing, weird seeing text messages from the future. I thought there would have been some sanity checking in the iPhone code to put the current time the message was received if it was date-stamped in the future!

I have a Windows Mobile device and get the same problem. Another Windows Mobile device seems ok. I think it's an on device problem. Where did NealR say there was a patch coming? Is it on the network side or the device side?

I remember seeing Neal's post and I'm pretty sure that it's on the network side.
