Heya. My three months of free Internet usage ran out yesterday. I got a txt today telling me I had 2MB left of 10, and then I had used all 10 2 hours later. Anything over that I would be charged $1 per MB. The thing is, I have barely used the net and Im pretty confident I havent used 10MB. I watched a video last night, listened to the radio and then went to a webpage today. surely that cant be 10MB?

Maybe the video was 8 or so MB, but I dont think so.

Is my Iphone just being on using up data by itself or what?

Thanks.

Have yoy actually checked how big the video is? Also, what quality was the online radio station? Did the website you visited have large image, animations or videos?

Also, the billing reports are not live, so you may have exceeded it while still listening to the radio.

10GB or 10MB? Your message said 10MB but your topic title is 10GB.

I got this text like this a few times. Mine said something about 'Casual data', which is strange, as I was on a plan.

Basically, if you use more than 10 megs in one day, it will warn you about it (it doesn't mind if you are on a plan or not). As it says in the text I got, you can text to stop the warnings.

As long as you don't exceed your plan, you'll be fine.

Heya Thanks everyone for the replies. Thanks for title change also. I havent checked how big the video was no, but now come to think of it i was on home Wi-fi when I watched the video so it shouldnt of mattered. The Radio station was an App from Itunes. I realise that if i go over 10MB i will pay, but the thing is im sure I havent.

I will see what tomorrow brings and report back

10MB isn't that much and can be fairly easy to go throw even just from web broswering

is why I always switch off the images if I'm not on wifi as it makes it waaay lighter on the bandwidth

if you got the alerts you have used the data as spoken about before the iphone is a always online device and uses data with no inter action from the end user.
