The Upstairs Vodafone store and the store on the road are actually the same store (just two entrances, I believe) or there could be two stores in the meridian.

But the actual Vodafone store is separate and inside Wall st.

TBH idk. As it is only shown as a Vodafone Retailer and not partner like the Wall St one.

One good question is if anyone has purchased an iPhone from the roadside Vodafone store before, then it would mean that they are selling them.

I was actually meaning the one in here

So are you saying that the vodafone branded first mobile stores won't have them on release day? I'm in Alexandra so was planning on driving through to Queenstown or Wanaka to get one when they open at 9am. Will have to ring up on Thursday to check I suppose.

Will there be any problem buying from the Vodafone store if I want a prepaid phone, not on contract?
@urbangrafix I was planning on that store as well, seems like the most likely to have it to me

Pretty sure prepaid is ONLY available from Vodafone online store - if it's anything like the 3GS.  If you're going to take that approach, may as well buy from apple.co.nz instead, as they undercut Vodafone a tad.

I finally have fibre!  Had to leave the country to get it though.

Well, I'm very disappointed that the phone is supposed to launch this Friday, and Vodafone are still yet to announce availability and pricing details. Their email of the 16th said that they would have more info on pricing and availability last week, and still nothing yet.

I don't think it's vodafone holding the pricing back. No pricing has been released in Australia either (well at least not on the apple.com.au website)
