freitasm:

I am talking about net numbers. Vodafone New Zealand lost 25,000 mobile connections, after counting IN and OUT.

According to the end of quarter results posted by Vodafone Group PLC, Vodafone New Zealand had 2,504k mobile connections and at the end of the quarter they had 2,479k. These customers moved to another network or let their prepay connections lapse.

It doesn't negate the fact that telecom lost numbers and vodafone gained them due to the bad PR around their crap service at the time.

Which is most likley going to happen again, but otherway around.

the only one to really win out of this is 2 degrees.  And like you say, vodafone lost 25k connetions, they need everything they can get.

Stuff Article: "Customer Simon Peak said the release had been an ''epic fail''."

Sums the release up pretty nicely in my opinion.

Interesting to note that the 16 and 32gb 3GS is still available through the Vodafone website.
So comparing prices as they currently stand.

iPhone 4 16gb: $1099.
iPhone 3GS 16gb (VF Online Store): $1179

iPhone 4 32gb: $1279 (iPhonewzealand website)
iPhone 3GS 32gb (VF Online Store): $1379

So you weren't joking? A vodafone employee took a bribe? wow, I am sure now that this sort of behaviour has been outed then someone could well be losing their job. I am sure Paul will be taking a dim view on this, especially if it makes mainstream media.

yeah, I got one, well actually it was for my wife.
